    When you finish translating your language let us know and we'll give a Premium for free!
Translation process
  • Translations can be made directly.
  • Translation suggestions can be made.
  • Any authenticated user can contribute.
  • The translation uses monolingual files.
  • The translation base language is editable.

🎉 It's been a few days now that you have started using Settle Up. We hope that you are happy with the app and want to give you a few tips & tricks on how to get the best out of it.

Tip 1: Circles
Circles at the top of the group screen reflect the size of the members' debts. The member with the biggest debt should pay next to keep the debts balanced. You can add an expense by tapping their circle.

Tip 2: Transaction type selector
When adding a new transaction, you can choose from an expense, an income, or a transfer within the group. Expenses from bill are useful when you need to enter specific items from a receipt.

Tip 3: Minimize the number of debt settlements
Our debt algorithm minimizes the number of transactions among group members that are necessary to settle up. This means that you might end up paying somebody who you don't owe directly. If you don't like this feature, you can turn it off in Edit group menu.

Tip 4: Expense categories
You can sort each expense in categories, which is useful for filtering transactions. You can also create your own custom categories simply by choosing from your emojis. This is a Premium feature.

Tipp 1: Kreise
Die Kreise oben auf dem Gruppen-Bildschirm spiegeln die Höhe der Schulden der Mitglieder wider. Das Mitglied mit den größten Schulden sollte als Nächstes bezahlen, um das Gleichgewicht zu halten. Sie können eine Ausgabe direkt hinzufügen, indem Sie auf den jeweiligen Kreis tippen.

Tipp 2: Auswahl der Transaktionsart
Wenn Sie eine neue Transaktion hinzufügen, können Sie zwischen einer Ausgabe, einer Einnahme oder einer Überweisung innerhalb der Gruppe wählen. Die Funktion „Ausgabe nach Beleg“ ist besonders nützlich, wenn Sie einzelne Artikel von einer Quittung detailliert erfassen möchten.

Tipp 3: Anzahl der Ausgleichszahlungen minimieren
Unser Algorithmus minimiert die Anzahl der notwendigen Transaktionen zwischen den Gruppenmitgliedern. Das bedeutet, dass Sie am Ende vielleicht jemanden bezahlen, dem Sie nicht direkt etwas schulden. Wenn Sie diese Funktion nicht nutzen möchten, können Sie sie im Menü „Gruppe bearbeiten“ einfach ausschalten.

Tipp 4: Ausgabenkategorien
Sie können jede Ausgabe in Kategorien einteilen, was das Filtern von Transaktionen erleichtert. Sie können sogar Ihre eigenen benutzerdefinierten Kategorien erstellen, indem Sie einfach aus Ihren Emojis wählen. Dies ist eine Premium-Funktion.
